Surrounded by open countryside near the sea at Llanbedr, 3 miles from Harlech, this cottage retains some original artefacts, such as a wooden hay hopper in the lounge. Carefully renovated and comfortably furnished as a holiday cottage.

This is a really beautifully situated cottage which would benefit from the installation of a shower.

Lovely and cheery cottage in a great location. Plenty of excellent walks from the cottage or within a short drive. Close to Shell Island and other great beaches at Harlech & Barmouth. Harlech Castle is nearby and definitely worth a visit. Victoria Pub is less than ten minutes walk serving good food and excellent beer at a fair price. Artro valley going up to Llyn Cwm Bychan and the Roman Steps is fabulous although the road is very narrow with passing places. Another must is the Mawddach estuary bridge and Mawddach Way from Barmouth with spectacular views. Hope to return soon and would definitely stay at the Old Byre Cottage!

This is a great little cottage. It has all the amenities required. Unfortunately the beds are uncomfortable and the shower is over the bath, so anyone disabled is unabable to get in or out of it - but that's just me.

A lovely cottage in a great location for us as we have a boat on Shell Island. Easy to walk into Llanbedr from too. Our grandson loved being so close to the railway station and watching the train. So wonderful to be able to be so close to the station and go into Barmouth and Porthmadog. Will definitely return.

The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring this part of Wales. Beautiful scenery and beaches.
